new stuff looks neat... they got the new nano, new ipod touch...bigger classic...thats about it though....not too different or amazing
btw itunes 8 is okay, genius is neat, and when i actually can get a song matched, the playlists it makes actually aren't half bad...
the only problem is about 30% of my music, which i listen to a lot still, isn't matched...i guess stuff not on itunes...
what do you think about the new stuff?
neato stuff?
or overpriced crap in a sleek, brushed aluminum package?

i like the new genius thing and the new visualizer (magnetosphere) is great - the new nanos are a nice imrpovement and upgrade but nothing new just an upgrade same with the touch some nice new features but nothing that is mindblowing and its a nice price cut for the classic as they brought the 120gb one to the lower price point that the 80gb one was so now hopefully they will intro a bigger classic with say 320gb or something. i love the new headphones they brought out and cant wait to try them out as hopefully they wont be the usual crapple headphones - dual drivers sub and tweeter at $70 you dont usually start seeing that stuff until atleast $150.

I'm going to be buying the new Nano soon. just got home, checking out the new stuff they've got. May sell and get the new iTouch too if it's good. :3 Selling my classic now though. But I won't get a lot cuz they friggin' dropped prices on me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, why can't they just give me another first gen nano
I don't want to play movies on it, I don't need it to check my email, just give me the 30 hours of battery it used to get and an aluminum casing

the new speaker in the itouch is the only real improvement really. im impressed by the nano, it looks awesome.

personally..i find it frustrating how often they update it, cause they make everyone constantly out of date! but i guess thats how they manage to sell it all so well :(
they should do what sony did w/ psp...update it after a few years, not every one
as for the new ipod nano... meh, and for the new ipod touch, meh
the thing i dont like about the ipod touch is the chrome back, it gets too scuffed too easily,
as for its built in speaker, its for casual listening, so if you plan on listening to it in a slient room a lot, then its great, oitherwise.. its not loud enough

once a year really isnt often, alot of companies update every 6 months.
Obviously the Nano was the star of the show, and 24 hours playback....
The Touch now has a speaker, cooler back, nike+, and 30 Hours playback...
Not much done to the classic, i reckon it will die out next year, as the Touch will go 64Gb, and the nano 32Gb.
I really like iTunes 8 aswell, certainly faster.

i hope it doesnt die out i think they will just keep it and keep making it hold more as there are always people out there who have gb's of music and video that they want to use on the fly or only want to have to sync every few months

yea i checked it but they said the new touch looks the same except for the back. they didnt say no internal sepaker or buttons

p.s. if you have recently purchased an ipod it is worth giving apple a call as they may swap it out for a small fee or for free as it isn't un-heard of.
