You solder 2 wires to it?

LOL you got lots of questions dude.

He did it in Parallel which is of coarse fine. I use Series more often now which i think it easier.

Now looking at that pic, Tmandt did a really bad job. There is like 3 feet of wire on each led  :fear:

Just solder each led to wire and solder to the powerboard like normal. Just so you know series is easier  :yess:

Wouldn't the LED be not as bright if in series?

paralell is better because the leds are given a equal current, meaning they are the same brightness. Just scratch a bit of the insulation paint off these two spots on your powerboard and solder a 10 ohm resistor to one side, then solder on you leds.

I wouldn't recommend wiring led's in series.
Many many reasons.
why?

because the leds would lose power the futher down the wire you go. the first one would have full power then for every one after that in that setup would have reduced power to use. therefore they won't be as bright at the one before it.

Well i like to sometimes  Less wire on the powerboard makes it easier.

But if I'm doing something like direct contact leds on the phat i use parallel all the wayyy.
