Hey guys nd gals, Im working on a good mates psp nd having a weird problem. The Left trigger is relly dodgey, Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't work, sometimes its constantly on. I have tried 2 different Left Trigger and D pad things and both have the same problem, I have reflashed the firmware just in case. The strange thing is the D pad all works fine. I think I have pinned it down to a faulty mobo, but any other sugestions / anyone else had this problem. Oh and btw this started happening aparently when his freind droped it at school.
Thx Acidmodders
Peace,

sounds like the mobo is causing the problem. have you tried using that d-pad ribbon in another psp?

I recommend gently rubbing the tip of a toothbrush on the pin of the connector,to prevent any shorting that may be occurring

well rigty oh, thx guys I will see if I can do anything.
Btw Aphex both the ribbons I tried work in other psp's.

No.. it could jsut be the connectors that need a clean because they're grounding. I'm actually having a similar problem with my slim. I don't know if its my d-pad or mobo. Hope it's the d-pad >.> But I need to get a new one from somewhere.

nah im like 98% sure itz a faulty mobo cas you can get the trig to work by removing the batt for like 10 mins then pop it back and and you get likie 8 mins where it will work fine then it stops.
