I want to use an LM386 to make some speakers louder. I also want volume control on it.
I DID google search, but I got a bunch of different answers.
Can someone give me a schematic and parts list of how to make a small amp with that lm386?
It's going to power an iHome H4 speaker, 2 other speakers (unknown types,etc..) and a headphoine speaker. Lol.
Preferably as small of a voltage as needed, cuz space is cramped.
Thanks to whoever helps

try checking this data sheet on this page (http://newzealand.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=5342898 (http://newzealand.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=5342898) just scroll down to the data pdf) it has several typical amplifier aplications, You may need to modifiy them abit to get a volume but I suspect you could probably just use a potentiometer (varible resistor).

Or if someone could post how to make an amp using a quad op amp chip...I've got one of those too.
And, that doesn't really help, I don't have time to just test and try things out. I want a defnite schematic I can use. Thanks though

So all I need is a 10k ohm resistor, 10ohm resistor, 0.05uF cap, and a 250uF cap, and follow that diagram?
How would I add a pot for volume controll on there? And will that work @ 9V?
