Title: xbox rrod

my friends no that i have fixed a rrod on a 360 and today one of my friends asked me if i could fix the rrod on a plain xbox, and until now i didnt even no ther was a rrod. but anyways he wants me to fix it and i was wundering if you guys have any idea how u fix it, all help appreciated

i had the rrod on mine and it was due to a bios error

Ether a Bios error or Eprom or failed drive. I have an xbox here with a dead eprom.. The only way I was able to fix it was with a mod chip.. In most cases and this is not my field of expertise so thous of you who know better then me please chime in as I am only talking from my own experiance (sp - too lazy to fix).  I have 4 first gen xbox's in the house and not one of them are umm factory. :faint:

if you have a chip try getting the recovery cd thats going around theres a xbox and a 360 one put it on a cd and try if it should recover the xbox if its a bios prob.
