:help: ok i connected a 555 timer as explain in a tut i find on this website and i got it workin as only single shot in halo what am i missing or can do better cause i followed the directions and bought the right :censored: but i have no idea please help :beg:

first off, what type of controller are you using? use silly nuts tut with king mikes changes, its on the front page of threads, "my 555 with 10k pot and sleeper added" something like that you must use the transistor for this to work.

never tried this on an old board myself, works well on the new ones though. can anyone confirm sillys 555 set up for old controlers? I dont think it will work for the old ones.
just do the old chip method, those old boards are obsolete
or, buy mikes chip 7.99 very easy works on all controllers

You can't make Halo weapons fire faster than they do, it's coded into the GAME (which you just lost)
It only increases accuracy...

You CAN'T MAKE the halo weapons shoot faster.
Just follow the tut correctly >.> and you'll have rapid fire, it's not gonna make HALO weapons shoot faster though. Only better accuracy.
If it's not working, you screwed up somewhere

No you can't, Don't act as if you are superior to everyone else.
If everyone goes off topic then it becomes unorganised and then if someone else asks a question then they will not be able to get an answer easily if the topic begins to talk about other things then what that topic was originally made for.

Scubasteve, your off topic comment was not a big deal at all; but when PspKicks reminded you politely to stay on topic your response was not friendly, and this seems to have derailed the whole thread into the mess it has now become. So in general, if there is something you don't agree with, be polite about it when you reply. If someone else is being rude, click the report to moderator tag and move on; instigating or perpetuating an argument is only going to leave behind a bigger mess for the moderators to clean up later on. Case in point, this thread now has 27 replies, pretty much all of which below the 9th can now be deleted.
