Title: Random PSP led mod idea

I just thought of the most random(sorta funny) led mod for a psp!!!!
UMD reactive leds...so whenever a umd is spinning it flashes
lol tell me wat you think and if it gets enough god comments ill try it lol(maybe)

Post by: rceckspurt13 on October 05, 2008, 09:57:18 PM: why would you want it? It would really serve no purpose. Also its a bit more complicated then that. You would need a pic or a timer ic to make the LEDs blink. Also it may steal power from the umd motor so that it dosent spin at the proper speed. This could cause it to be unable to read the umd. You may be able to get around this by using transistors though. If you want to try it, I'd like to see it so I'd say go for it if your up to it.

I saw one guy use some kind of sd-pro duo adapter and then mounted it internally on the back where the umd drive goes, and put two sd cards there, then routed the cable to the ms slot... I think you could get a goot 32gigs out of that.
