Title: Acid Mods T- Shirt Design contest!!!
Post by: StealthedHunter on October 17, 2008, 08:34:05 AM: The winner will have his design put on the t-shirt, and maybe even get the t- shirt free possibly.

We need a design for an acidmods t-shirt. The design needs to be sort of large, or however big you think it will need to be to fit on the shirt how you want it. Or you could maybe make the design on a picture of a shirt so we will know how you plan on it looking. It would be nice to have front of the shirt and back. I will edit this post with entries every so ofter. The contest will go on untill we have a good number of entries so no set time limit, but Ill post when I will say maybe only 24 hours left or so when we get enough.

i like the banner on the front but the back im not so sure about

im not at all artistic on a computer but i think it would be cool if some one could take Darwins theory of evolution pic(the one that goes from monkey to man)an give the monkey an atari and then just make each step in the evolution the next generation of counsole(nes snes sega ps1 xbox ...)

2. All I am doing is making the topic and putting up a poll. I am not going to pick a design and automaticaly say that one is it im not dumb...

meh it is just taking the banner and putting it on a t shirt. Nobody is going to want to walk around with something like that on. Maybe iif it just had the lightning and said acidmods that wouldn't loko too bad.

Also the color doesnt really matter probably because we could get em made in nay color we want. White is probably cheapest though

That wasn't disrespecting you, I was just saying someone better as in higher ranked, like Art Team leaders or an Admin, since it most pertains to them;Admins selling them and well, the art team doing what they do best.

This will be the third time we try to do an apparel based design and each time before it has failed.

Lack of interest in the designs, Lack of funds to purchase and some more on both the designer and members side.

We have tried Cafe Press and a members family business. Both without success.

So basically if you can figure out pretty much every aspect of this concept.

To be honest I think "Unofficial" Merchandise would be the only way for an individual to get an AM shirt at this moment in time ...

We need to settle on an idea.. It doesn't have to be a full T Shirt design but more of just an Idea..

As for the front, not just the banner, we need something special, that's not got a background so it's not a big rectangle shape with an image in it on the front (highly unprofessional).

Well if youre going to do it I think that design idea is pro, Done properly It would look pretty geeky sweet, I'd do it btu I dont think i got the skills so ken ?

Post by: kink192 on October 24, 2008, 02:00:05 PM: just throwing this out there, but i like the look of the two layer shirts, a t on top of a long sleeve. have something on one sleeve, something on the other. have where consoles evolve across the shoulders, and this is more so for :censored: and giggles, but have tupacs thug life tat, how he has it across the naval area, but have it say nerd life. just have the razor symbol since that used to be the am logo/flag for a while. there we go a nice T-shirt.

TO put it into perspective compare my music interest to 1sniper.

Indy - Indie, Hip-Hop, Dance, Garage etc All differnt in themselves
Snipe - Metal, Alternative, Screamo etc

I mean jsut look at the different dress senses D:
Its like asking an angel and a demon to agrree on a t-shirt design its jsut not possible D: To go to extremes :3

AS artists we jsut have to comply to the requests then make an educated decision based on the responses from the potential customers and make an educated decision as to which too print :)

I would be more than happy to be one of the designers and handle the merchandise in bulk buy situations :D

Sorry guys, I still don't like it. I've setup a Team to work on this T - Shirt, Seeing as how none of you seem to understand the Concept of a Team...

I asked for everyone to band together and work on the Shirt together, And only a few people actually made any effort...

Anyways, I'm working on it.

It looks too flashy to me, but I generally only wear plain t-shirts in the first place so I guess I may be biased.

On another note, I think the whole thing should have smaller objects with more spacing in between them.

but ofc, shipment fee is not included in the price... dont know how much extra will it be... probably 10 bucks in EU, and 20 or so to outside EU...

When we originally positioned this T Shirt Idea to Cyber he said that he wanted "The design needs to pop out! I want it big and larger than life. I want it to scream out Look at me!"

I merely designed it according to the site owners wishes.. And if you guys don't like how flashy it is. then maybe we should have you HELP the Team make the design instead of having it everyone for himself. We all have to be happy with this design..

Regardless... This image is still a WIP. but if you guys have any ideas the fine. But unless Cyber shows up and states he is okay with a Simplistic Design, or unlesshe authorizes two different designs.. It's not going to end up simple..

Plus I must remind you that we've made 5 official Acidmods Products that members requested and NO ONE BOUGHT THEM...

So we are a bit worried about putting the money out to get shirts that you guys may or may not buy..

Also about non profit. Half always goes to AM. or even more. to help with server costs to continue providng you guys with the benefis of a Website..

Also just to let you know, Cyber isn't financing an ounce of this... Everytime me or Robin cooked one of these up, We paid it all up front to order out what people wanted.. and they still didn't buy them so we lost the money,

yeh i remenber that lol i did keyrings and you did psp skins. i still have one of those skins in mint condition - the other one is on my blue psp phat - it looks sik
