i was on 3.90 m33-3 and did the update option on the psp to get to 5.00 m33 and now it apears i have ofw?!!! help?!

well use a pandoras battery. There is no 5.00 m33 so you just done is installed official firmware and overwrited the custom firmware/

There is 5.00 m33, just released today. Why the m33 update didn't work? you might not have had it enabled.
Not too much that can be done. Only thing I can suggest is use a Pandora's Battery and mem stick to get it to custom firmware

oh really? wow never knew, he must have not enabled the m33 and magupdater and just updated to official, if you lost your pandoras battery and magic mem stick the only thing you can do is get someone to do it for you.

Or what you could also do, is copy all the goodies on the mem stick to your computer, install the necessary files to it using a computer, and hardmod your current battery. that is exactly what I did with mine (slim), and afterwards, just revert it. simple.

on the new battery i have i believe its possible but i have no solder. isnt there a way to scratch off a pbc line or something? :dntknw:

you dont need a gun. just do what i did. i used a sowing needle and pull it off. oor if oyur noobish (not you, ohter people who might benifit from thin who are noobs :rofl:) put some tape over the contacts so you dont short when you pull the pin
