Post by: PspKicks316 on October 19, 2008, 05:48:16 AM: Yup and even then it's not bricked, as the hdd just needs replacing. The firmware in onboard. That's why you can load up an iPod into disk mode and diagnostics mode even when there's a broken or no harddrive in it.

Post by: nez on October 22, 2008, 01:02:01 AM: If it is 5 gen or 5.5 gen get ipodwizard and mess up as may of the resources as possible you will brick it to the point of no restore. You can actually mess up the recovery mode and everything. I know it is possible.
