After discussions with retail partners and customer feedback, SCEA has taken more interest in the Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack in North America, which includes the updated PSP-3000. The result? Sony will no longer offer the 4GB Memory PSP Entertainment Pack.
Let's look at this for a bit. The Ratchet and Clank pack offers the PSP 3000 in Mystic Silver, a 1GB Memory stick, and of course, Ratchet and Clank Size Matters for US$ 200. On the other hand, the 4GB Memory PSP pack offers the PSP 3000 in Piano Black and a 4GB Memory stick for the same price.
So the loss of the 4GB bundle sucks if you're one of the following:
You already have Ratchet and Clank Size Matters
You don't give a **** about the said game
You want your PSP 3000 in Piano Black and not Mystic Silver
You want a 4GB Memory Stick to come with your new PSP 3000
It looks like more bad news for the PSP 3000 as gamers will think twice about upgrading to the PSP 3000 with the Ratchet and Clank pack compared to the other bundle. It's a big blow, but let's not take it out on Ratchet and Clank.
they are silently recall in the rachet and clank, but not the value psp? wth. they should recall all PSP-3k, and release a REAL PSP-3000. whatdya think?

Totally agree, whats the point of only replacing the bundles if the value packs are going to have the same problem.

i think because they lose money when they include 1-2 games and a 4 GB memstick, alone with the value stuff

wow thats suck in my opion i would rather have the 4gb mem stick then a game, they should just recall all of the 3000 models an make it better add a built in camera an stuff add a flip screen an built in keyboard now that would be awsome :tup:

So true, and plus (to be honest) there are better games out now compaired to gta. They should do a Resistance Retribution pack for the psp 3000, now that i'd buy! :dribble:

no, they should do one with some PS1 games preinstalled on a 4gb memstick. and when will sony bring out oddworld on playstation store, it was cool when i played it (cfw, legal backup as i already owned the game).

we dont evein have the 3000 where i live :( i was dissapointed.. now im modding my phat to have a mic in it..

They could have called it the PSP 2.5K instead of the 3k. While the changes were ok, it was too minor of an upgrade.

I think its just that they lose money in production and not a lot of people are interested with a psp that doesn't have games and also they should just sell the psp 3k's by themselves therefore more people would buy them if they already have the things in the bundle. Anyways lets see how sony handles the demand for piano black psp 3000's.
