Post by: SN!P3R on November 06, 2008, 01:39:28 PM
i did a case swap for one of my PSP's (w00t) it was goin gr8 untill i put it all together. i put the Battery in, and i expect to turn on the PSP, only to relasise that the PSP turns ITSELF on  :boxed:. i did it 3 times to make sure i wasnt doing it. i have yet to see if its the mobo, i goota run it out of the case. i put a new power bord in, to the same issue. when i pull the battery out, the led just dies, out as in fades, it doesnt just cut out. anyone know wtf is up with it?

this you mess with the battery before? like make it into a pandora's battery?  I know in the recovery menu it has an option to restore the battery to normal with auto on.

nah. i tested it outside of the case and it works gr8. i took the metal shiendling between the mobo and wifi board and i reinstalled everything. now it insnt turning it self on. i put the speaakers and i can boot it normally, i hear the SCE cold boot and I actually turn it on.

nah, its not an autoboot. if it was autoboot, when i pulled the battery, the led would just shut off quick. when i pull the battery out, the led would fade off in about .5 of a second. when i run ut out of the case with wifi board and speaker and abxy board it works. wierd. but i got it to work  :victory:
