I want to put direct contact leds in my slim. I did it to my phat but I am not sure how to do it to the slim. The speakers are completely different so if anyone has a tutorial or pictures of how to connect them then please let me know ASAP.

Solder the positive and negative led wires to the positive and negative speaker contacts on the mobo.
BAM
done.
Use Nic0's tut in this forum for reference but only pay attention to the way the triggers are drilled and the speaker contacts.

is it better to wire them directly to speakers or its better to do it with lm386?
-
The easiest way is directly to the do it is direct contact, but the way that makes more sense is the lm386.

TBH thats not really right to get the best resuslts i think direct is the way to go..
LM386 takes more battery and its not as reactive. Its brighter though thats the only good thing

Im also looking at the fact of turning it off whenever without any alterations to the case. Thats why I said that.

Thanks for all the help I figured it out but I was wondering for future reference if it is better to solder the wire to the speaker contacts on the mobo or to solder directly to the speaker. I was thinking its better to solder to the speakers simply because they are easier to replace if messed up but idk.
