if this is an intro to software modification, then elaborate on what 'bricking, the 'flash0', the 'TA83v3', PSP 1000/2000 are, cos they wouldnt know.

that's my 2 cents.

"After you go to Cfw, you will never go back to official firmware."

Elaborate. What someone can take out of that, is either they CAN'T go back, or they don't WANT to go back.

No offense, but that article is kinda crappy. It's way too broad and it doesn't help someone who doesn't know anything about it.

P.S. Using proper English/correct spelling will get you a long way, I saw a few spelling mistakes in there.

Psphaxor, just wondering. Do you think before you post? Obviously not. Just cause he's not technically important to this forum doesn't mean we shouldn't help him.

@Catoch:

I'm afraid your article isn't very good. You haven't included very many details. A glossary would've helped with key terms, and perhaps a basic tutorial on how to actually install cfw/homebrew.

Detail.

Lots of detail.

In order to write an article as such, you have to have all the info, and explain in detail as if you were explaining it to someone who knows about computers, but nothing about the psp.

And of course, spelling.

This was on a Geeks website so i should have wrote it better, but i only had 4 days til the contest was over, and i guess that i assumed that people know more...  :wacko:

If I were doing this for a $6000 rig I would pull out all the stops, explain the intro to modding, how Homebrew came around, how 1.50 OFW was an epic security fail. Explain what needs to be done to change OFW to CFW (now, and in the past). Downgrading, pandora, DarK_AleX, everything you can think of, with explanations for all the jargon.
