Sir, that solder job is terrible! You should just solder one wire there, and then connect all the rest of the wires to that, and use some electrical tape or something. Much cleaner and better.
-
Ya thats what I was gonna say, but bustin beat me as I was typing it.
If you need help, it would also help us if you described the problem.
-
when i had the faceplate off it worked. when i put it it stops working.
-
proly short in the wiring
-
You're shorting something. Cover all exposed wires and connections with electrical tape. The problem is probably your blob of solder. That thing is the most messed up thing ever lol.
Damn, Ch4rl13 beat me to it.
-
yeah deff a short i mean look at that it is §hit on a stick not to be offensive
Damn bustinthejustin beat me too it i am doing all this on a psp
-
LOL!
That is the funniest thing I have seen all week.
Splice all of your connections into one positive and negative wire.
Or daisy chain them together using the led's contact points, but don't do that!
-
wow are you serious? umm practice soldering, then try this again. To much bare wire and to much solder, those knots in the wires will make it harder to fit back in. Try keeping it to two wires coming onto the powerboard and solder all your leds to those two wires elsewhere.
-
one of our acidmodders said to use them to help sodering. what tools do you use.

soldering iron, helping hands, solder and a exacto knife is handy for removing insulation paint.
-
Totally shorting.
Um another suggestion is don't strip the wire that much. Only need a little bit out especially for the leds only strip like a mm off then solder.
And those knots in the wires cant be helping much lol.
Practice with some other things they sell like PCB's and a bunch of components in a kit that are good for soldering practice on amazon maybe one of those to practice :D
Good luck

If you cant get the hang of stiping the wire only tiny bits (like me with my old fasion wire stripers) then just strip normaly and use a pair of side cutters or something to trim it to about 1mm before tinning the wire.
