Title: PSP USB Port Problem.

Just recently became in the modding scene, making pandoras, changing faceplates ps2joysticks on psp's etc.

Anyway, i stumbled across a black fat psp from a bloke at my school and he wanted 80 for it, so im like, meh, not everyday you come across a psp for 80 bucks. Took it home, everything was good untill i saw the usb slot was a bit unusual, i tried plugging it in, nothing happened, anyway i uploaded a video so you can all see my problem, and hopefully a few of you's can help.

Post by: bustinthejustin on December 08, 2008, 06:09:07 PM: I think it's just a standard USB port, but I'm not sure if you could desolder and resolder the USB port. You should be able to, but check with someone else first.

But youshould be able to find an old busted motherboard that you could steal the usb from. Check around the site, there are plenty of people with broken ones.

Btw 30 USD is only about 45 AUD.
