I personally think you're better off learning actionscript and making it flash based.

And learning the coding languages in depth before delving into something big.

By the way, I've found to easier to do only one project at a time and starting a new one after you finish the other (it's easier, less stressful, etc etc)

Im doing flash and actionscript 3 in my interctive multimedia module i will ask next time i see the prof how you creat a music player to play a folder of music the rest is simply drawing it up in flash or photoshop. the part which would be fun to do is trying to get it to load the album artwork

The whole thing would be rather simple it seems, actually. It's just a matter of...making it work.
