Hey fellas I'm new to posting on you're forum.
I have a question ...
I have a old bricked pulled apart PSP ... i saw the ps1 screen being put into cases and i want to somehow put my PSP screen into my PC case as a clone or secondary screen. It's perfect size for 2 drive bays, its widescreen and it has a good picture.
ANY help would be much appreciated!!
P.S. I am aware of the homebrew mod for the USB connected secondary screen but as my PSP isn't working and all i really have is the screen. I had thought that if i can somehow solder something straight from the motherboard bypassing all the actual PSP components, all I'd need is the LCD controller ... right??
THANKS GUYS

May I ask why you would put a psp into a pc case?
That would require a field programmable gate array to convert the psp output to vga then to scart,
more work than it's worth if you ask me tbh

He meant just the screen, not the whole psp. Or maybe I don't understand your response.

yer guys i just want to, in the end, have the PSP screen in 2 drive bays and the controllers running it would be behind the screen.
this is the screen i have...

I'd say that the easiest way to do this is to google the pinout of the psp screen, and wire up the RGB/VGA connection from the screen to the display out port on the computer.

AS I SAID ABOVE,you will require a field programmable gate array, there are masterminds working on how to input to a psp screen and STILL haven't figured it out, noobs don't read no more.....

Yup or you could try and ruin your screen
