Read my response. It's far from being a good tutorial, but it's a general idea of what to do.

I use a milling machine and a jig for cutting umd doors.

Milling machine?

Lucky b4stard, is it a bridgeport or a micro mill (sieg X1) ?

Ahh, I really want a sieg x1.

Did you make the jig?

Can't wait to use my cnc router to do that.

It's not a cnc, just a manual control,I made the jig with the cnc mill at my school.
the jig presses againt the smooth section of the drill bit so the jig itself can't get cut.It guides the bit around and doesn't let it astray.

Cool, you could also use a rotary table.

I just use a dremel

Just be careful with it, and set it to a slow speed, and make sure you have good hand eye co-ordination

I find the best way is to use a cutting wheel on medium speed, then a sander bit on high speed until there is a small lip, then lower the speed and finish it perfect and if needed use some fine sand paper. (Dremel is used for all)

But its really what you prefer and what tools you have..
