Post by: Modded Matt on December 17, 2008, 04:23:58 AM: there are three types of power conectors for the 360. they have progressed with the new components over time. they supply different voltages, but only what the 360 pulls, they are backward compatable, but not forward.....I am still unsure of the point but hopefully we will get there

Post by: 802Chives on December 17, 2008, 07:37:23 AM: Last I knew there were 2 power supplies, 203W and 175W. There may be another for new jasper set, since it should use less power. The 203W are compatible with all the xboxs since it exceeds the power required for all. the 175W physically will not work on a 203W xbox as they have made the connector in a way that it will not plug in.

I would suggest getting the 203W if you are unsure as it is a safe bet.
