Post by: pinoyboi24 on December 22, 2008, 11:55:05 PM
I remember my friend telling me not to have your computer stting on the carpet or on the ground. you should have it elevated(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hackmyitouch.com%2Fsteelkane%2FTPU%2520POST%2520Resized%2520800x600%2FTPU%2520POST%2520FINAL%2520Picks%2FMREE1.jpg&hash=d8d8522ed9870c180097c534845c006304a86478)(Thanks to steelkane at The Mod Brothers) you see how its elevated? it it good to do that?

It is best to elevate your computer because there is less dust getting your system. I build computers and have to clean them so I know that leaving them on the carpet collects a lot more dust.
I'm also a member at the mod brothers.   :hifive:

Also if you are using some kind of rubber feet, or feet with rubber on the buttom, or sometimes even plastic ones, they all have noise insulation properties, they stop vibrations going into the ground, thus making it much quieter

WOOOOOOOOOOOW!, That thing is like a F-16 :P. Thats one of the sexiest computers I've ever seen. Now just get a better screen for it. For you question...yeah its better to have it elevated, better airflow.

Also may I add that if its elevated, you have an option of adding fans to the bottom, incase you have heat problems (I did this when my graphics card had cold air going towards it
