Ha lol idk mom got them for me since i told her i wanted something with leds i got more if anyone wants some
___if you buy you get __
1xChip like me
1xresistance or 2 on slim
1xveroboard to make it super clean like arioch if i could get more of them not sure tho
1xinstructions or i could sell them prewired so all youll have to do is solder

it took me around 2hours to complete this mod

the  chip consistes of 3 ground for 3 diffrent colors they all use the same+
It has 3 diffrent grounds so you could use 3 diffrent colors of leds so patterns are endless.

To be honest, it is cleaner without veroboard/perf board and just heatshrinking the whole thing.

I do use heat shrink but i used heat shrink on this psp but i would like to give veroboards a try

i could make way more cooler mods if i could solder on the psps tiny conector pins its ultra hard ive already got pwned once with a mobo so yeah dont wanna give a external controller a try again

Yeah, veroboards are pretty good, but not for smd.
Just practice and practice and you can do it!

Ok alien do you think that buying a microscope to solder to the pins small  connector would help.

Tools only help to an extent, buying a microscope won't make you suddenly able to solder it.
I have done it both with and without a microscope, and it does help siginificantly, but it wouldn't if the skill wasn't already there.

I recommend that you practice, maybe get a jewelers loupe, I use my microscope for many other things which you probably wouldn't be doing, I don't use it just for piggybacking to zifs

Hey Alien, how do you suggest we use the heat shrink...? Just heat shrink all the wires together and then secure it somewhere? Also, what diameter do you recommend, or any will do?

You put the cables you want to secure through the heat shrink's hole after with a heat-gun soldering iron or lighter or flamethrower you heat it so that it shrinks or unless you wanna go old skool and use electrical tape but its messy.

Ah. The first part is what I was looking for. I knew how to make it shrink - I'm not THAT stupid XD

wow i knew how to do it with out even knowing how to do it lol well i just put my wires thru and after used a lighter

Well there are different ways of using it I think - you could use it just to cover exposed wires and connections, use it to group together wires, manage wires, etc.

I use it for both, it is awesome for wire management.
I use my rework hot air iron to shrink it.

Wow dont you think a lighter is better

Uh... no a rework hot air iron would be way more effective... Hey Alien, would a hair dryer work?

hot air gun is better than a lighter, heat shrink can catch on fire with a lighter if you are not carefull(its rubber :winker:) but a lighter works fine if you can't afford all the fancy tools.

Don't belive a hair dryer would work, unless you have some major over heating one.

The heat shrink does work with a lighter but you need to be careful not to catch it on fire.
