i want to make my leds sound reactive
and at the same time i want to turn it off and on
by the hold switch..is this possible?
-
Not like that, no.
-
so can you show me how to do it..pretty plz.. :beg:
-
If your doing direct connection i don't think you can use the hold switch as both the - and + of the led have to connect to the speaker. If your doing it with the LM audio chip then yes there is a way of connection it to the hold switch.
-
so can you show me how it works with lm chip?thanks..
-
If you are using the chip just connect the ground from the LM386 to the hold switch.
-
yup or just connect to a whole other switch
-
i was making this during the previous posts i do beleive that it is correct.

i'm confused..earlier it says it was wrong..
then fat says its right..
-
maybe i'll try what you guys said...
trial and error time :w00t:
and i'd like to thank 4dp coz he is very accomodating..
i always have feedbacks whenever i have queries..thanks man..
-
Yep that will work like faT shows. You wi want to remove the resistors from the audio lines though.
Btw: both the pic of the hold switch, and the original speaker diagram are mine. faT gets all the credit for editing them to fit the situation.
-
thanks rceckspurt13 for supplying the images..
it really helps a lot man..
thanks.. :hifive:
-
Or you could just do a direct connection to your speakers and use a switch to the the power
-
Yeah but the whole point of using the wifi/hold switches is so you don't have to add a switch. If you want your psp to look stock, then I'd use one of those switches.
Oh and your welcome for the pics, I'm glad they helped.
-
yeah sorry man i didnt know they were both yours and just removed any branding and didnt brand it myself as i dont really care who made it as long as it gets the point across
-
Fat's diagram is correct on how it will work.
