hi if i connect my laptop to my xbox via ethernet, and use my laptop as a "wireless adapter." the ethernet that is connecting the laptop and xbox together, could i make a Lag switch on it and would it work correctly...
SETUP:
Router >> Laptop ---Lag switch--- Xbox

yh hes connecting that way ^ (using laptop as wifi adapter) but he wants to know if the ethernet connecting xbox to laptop could have a lag switch on it. I personaly don't know. :confused:

Lag Switches are FaiL and if you use one your FaiL Learn to play the game don't Resort to cheating..

I only use it when I see others using it or to mess with my friends when were playing gears, they just love getting headshotted from no where :laughing:

Oh. That's pretty sweet...But that's also a pretty stupid idea. I hate cheaters. I was just playing CoDWW and some chick had 95-6-11 as her final kill/assist/death count.
Kill cams showed she had rapidfire.
Stupid cheaters...

hate chu. i ordered my cat5 cablefor it. arriving between next friday and monday
and kicks. rapidfire doesnt make you godly at the game. she probbly does have some skill at the game. just not as much as she really wants

uhm, I know that. But it gets pretty damn annoying getting kill over and over again by the same cheater, regardless of skill. If she wasn't using rapidfire, I'd be cool with it.

Damn, lag switches would've been useful when I still played a game called "maplestory"... There were special items you had to get to go through a series of tasks to get a experience for a level up. All extras of these items were destroyed when you left the area, but you could "smuggle" them out by applying lag by removing your ethernet cable when you left. I used to have to get my brother to hit the leave button while I unplugged/plugged my ethernet cable.

umm No... Lag Switches Killed Socom US Navy seals 1-3 on the PS2.. Im sure Some alot more games But The PS2 Online Shooters were Full of Lag Switchers

yh i have skill at games, GOW i play atm im rank 4, tonnes of people use lag switches, ive never used one but im goin to make one to have fun with some friends:D

Lag Switchers can get banned on PSN and XBL, and PC Servers admins can be very harsh and ban when they think your using one.

this is the reason we run a private match with 18 friends once everyone reached level 65. if youll notice all the videos on youtube are 90% kids that suck a@@.

Think about Unplugging your Ethernet cable and putting back in. like really fast just to cause a loss in packets causing Lag its what lag switches do. Also think about Lag you Get in games But having it work for you by a push of a button/Timer/Switch.. Simplified it interrupts your Connect in burst to cause lag...by Will

i was even a h4x0r in SOCOM 2, i was one of the first, (After IDOT, and his co-dev [forgot his name])
but i still had another username that i used to play legit with friends and stuff, i never went into ranked games or anything while using hacks or lag switches. Only respawn rooms.... :#1:

I play this game called Soldier Front and people used to do this a lot. The host usually unplugs their Ethernet cable, then runs to other team's spawn and kills the whole enemy team.

But on a side Note thats cool. Why use that when you can make a Push button timer... a friend did that Pushes a button timer runs it course then it turns off. it was cool when we had Cheaters on the other team.

Yes Sadly I do and Mines the awesome ness.. But I dont use it.. I did when people were glitching or cheating. But I dont use them now this was back when crap got out of hand in SOCOM.
