Title: Anyone know somewhere that i can buy clear PSP buttons?
Post by: Darkzero on January 03, 2009, 11:27:50 PM
I'm looking for the buttons only, no faceplate or anything. It has to be for the PSP 1000, and i can't find it anywhere.  :dntknw:

Thanks  :hifive:

Thanks for the link. Any others though? The reviews for that were really iffy, but i'll still use it if it's my last resort.

I have a few sets of those because I bought clear cases and did not use them. The buttons are hard to press and get stuck sometimes.

Are they good quality buttons though? And are the X, O, [ ], Start, Select, triangle, ect painted on?

The quality is not that good. It feels cheap. They are not painted on.

These ones are way better quaility than the deal extreme ones, it would be like these are the original buttons but clear

But ofcourse DX doesnt sell them, only decalgirl, which is out of stock atm and costs quite a bit

Check if anybody on ebay is currently selling them

There was a hong kong based store for game modding parts that had these and was very cheap aswell, but they got shut down, forgot their name though

Sorry, but those buttons won't be stocking ever again. I talked to the customer support at Decalgirl and they don't make them anymore

Ahh that sucks

I checked ebay, they dont have em

Id just say go with the deal extreme ones, then do a little trick I do

1. Fill them with hot glue (try your best not to overfill it, it will save ALOT of time, also dont do the homebar or joystick, dealextreme one doesnt come with joystick anyway)
2. Make sure the buttoms of each button is flat
3 (Optional). If any buttons have excess glue, then sand it off with a dremel, also use those cheap disposable disks, since the glue melts and destroys the sanding disk after a while, dont want to destroy your big sanding blocks
