can i do that? uh oh with the memory led...idk what i did...it blinks like hell
-
What are you talking about?
-
Hot glue shouldnt do that...
-
if i am getting wat jumbo is hot glue shouldn't be conductive so ya u did something else maybe dropped solder somewhere u shouldn't have
-
I assume he was gluing down a wire so if you were careless you could've moved the wire bridging something.

I forgot that hot glue melts solder joints...
-
no i havent put glue yet........i scratched the little line, idk how its called ill put a video tomorow, its brighter then my 800 mcd white leds!I think
-
Did you cut the trace or scratch it? Did you solder anything to it?
-
scratched a little i guess. when i soldered a wire to 5v point dark stuff was around it, i tried cleaning it up and prob scratched it. I actually like that its blinking very brightly
-
Then keep it like that.
-
Then keep it like that.
And if his psp blows up ur responsible right LOL jk
but ya that might not be a good sign but who knows
-
You might melt the led if you're not careful.
-
im scared that one day the psp will blow up!
-
the mem stick led? you might have made contact with some one of the surrounding metal things (forgot the name ). i know that happened to me once, but it didnt blink. just stayed on continuously.

-
DAMN thats bright. you mustve soldered the led to some copper surrounding the led. sesolder and this time dont make contact with the copper.
-
nonono...i didnt try to swap the leds...i soldered a wire to 5v source the one in lordnico's tut. when i put solder on my flux became black and i tried to clean it any scratched the....... line?
-
Maybe you accidentally bridged the resistor.
-
where did you get the clear analogue stick
-
where did you get the clear analogue stick
I think it's just white...
-
nope its clear white doesent let light shine through like a clear analogue
-
nope its clear white doesent let light shine through like a clear analogue
Well clear analogues for the slim don't exist unless you make your own. And that looks like its just light shining ON it.
-
That's just light shining on it. And I think you probably did bridge the resistor. Just unsolder it and retry. That 5v point is a :censored: to solder to. Especially without flux.
-
if there is no problems with it being bright ill leave it...
the nub is clear =]

-
Jeez, hasn't anyone told you people they come with the clear cases from DX. Lawl.

oh my bad
-
Omg they come with clear buttons?! I didn't know!
-
:censored: clear buttons... black(psp) and hot pink(nub and buttons) is where its at!!
-
would be girly.
-
I would prefer clear tbh lol
-
clear case?
or buttons
-
Both.
-
i dont rly like the clear case..idk why..looks ugly
-
black with clear buttons looks cool.
-
im scared that one day the psp will blow up!
i dont think it would, the led would prob burn out
-
If the psp is on while the led is blinking, remove the memory stick and put it back in if you have one in. That's all i know what to do without physically being there
-
nonono.... nothing is wrong with mem card....only that the led itself is very bright
-
wow... i wanted to swap screens between my psps cuz i thought i had one with broken screen. So ok i took em both out and switched... and . i took the bad screen (i thought it was bad) and put in my assembled psp and it works! and i put screen good screen and put in my dissasembled psp and guess what? it was messed up as the the in dissasembled. So both screen are messed up in dissasembled or old psp , but are ok in newer psp. And also i tried soldering the 5v point. and guess what! EXACTLY the same thing happened as in old psp(ms led is very bright). i have not soldered those 2 things together or scratched the tracer(or the thing that goes to MS led)
