Title: Need resistor help.

Okay I'm getting these two leds -

http://unique-leds.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=1614 (http://unique-leds.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=1614) - red, I used a resistor calculator and it told me to get this resistor - 1/8W or greater 150 ohm resistor

http://unique-leds.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=1955 (http://unique-leds.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=1955) - green, I used a resistor calculator again and it tolde me to get this resistor - 1/8W or greater 56 ohm resistor

I'm hooking them up to 2 2.5 AA batteries so a total of 5V, I want to get the resistors from Unique-leds.com (http://Unique-leds.com) but they only have 1/4 resistors not 1/8 so can anyone help me? 1/8W = 0.125W

1/4W = 0.25W

0.25 > 0.125

The power rating on resistors is how much power they can dissipate before burning up. You mentioned the calculator suggested 1/8W or greater and since 1/4 > 1/8, the 1/4W resistor that you linked will be more than sufficient.
