Title: possible product line.
Post by: kink192 on January 08, 2009, 05:58:55 PM
ok i was thinking of making ipod touch docks, im starting on my own personal dock now, its also going to be a beta dock if i go into production. the amp is made out of a ps2 controller case, built in audio amp, and im working on the battery right now. i was thinking coin cell batteries.

heres a link to the thread to see some pics of what i have so far: https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=26157.0 (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=26157.0)

Wait, you want to build a factory and supply iPod docks?

it will start out as a hand made thing making custom docks for local people. if it takes off as i become old enough to run my own business i may mass produce.but for now, just cusstom hand crafted.

it all depends on the customer and my abilities. im sure i could do a nes, snesh, n64, all ps controllers, maybe the xbox controllers, and gamecube. i just hafta worry about countrerbalancing, making the holes, only problem, with what im doing i hafta remove all functionality from the controller. build in amp takes up some room, batteries, transistor board, speakers, and then the connectors themselves. but its going to look stock, button membranes hot glued in place to maintain press-ability, and analog board still in tact.

i love the look&feel of it. shows my love of music and video games, both of which go well together. lol

*edit while posting* haha i just mentioned nes in this post originally and then u mentioned nes. lol. it will match my nes controller belt buckle

if i get good enough at it, i may start making em for out of city people. maybe out of country O_o but its really not that hard, i just need a dremel. to make t he hole i had so use a screw driver, zippo, and a swiss army knife. hoora for improvisation, i may sell this one for dremel funds
