Title: disc stuck in wii?

anyone had this problem? from what ive read its common for it to happen but i want to know if its happened to anyone here and if so how they fixed it. there is no emergency eject button under the faceplate and i dont want to open the console unless i know i can fix it right...

okay I had similar problem on my macbook. It wouldn't eject even though I tried holding down the buttons. What I actually did to get the disc out without taking it apart was to take a cardboard business card and stick it in while I press the eject button.  It slide out without a problem on the first try.  try that, it worked for my macbook it should work for your wii.

Dont risk ruining your drive with cardboard.

You can dissassemble the drive to take it out, or once the wii is open, and you try to eject it you can see what is going wrong.

I didn't say stick it in that far >.>.  Just slide the card board under the disc and press eject and it should work
