Yes The RE 5 Demo Is Legal to have. They may not like you having it but they can't do anything to you.

ban you for having an unrealeasd game. kinda like every other game that is burnt and you get caught.

i might rent this. i dont really know bout buying it. im not really a big RE fan

Yes because MS bans you for playing a demo you download from the Marketplace.

The Controls for RE5 are the same as RE4. so I had No problem with it at all.

There's another level, too. There's a chainsaw guy in it... my advice for the second level is swapping weapons. Give your sniper to your partner and take her machine gun.
