I was instructed by Slim Hacker to tell you guys that he was IP banned due to the hacking of his wifi and the threatening of a DOS attack on AM by his immature neighbour by the name of "Cloud13"...
So I posted it.

Okay his neighbour hacked his wifi, and then threatened a DOS attack, so he got ip banned. But he was using Slim Hacker's wifi so Slim Hacker got banned.

wow........tell him that this is one of the lamest stories I have ever heard. For whatever reason people think it is cool to make another account and cause some mischief. IT IS AGAINST THE RULES TO HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. (threatening attacks that you dont even understand how to do is against the rules too:)
The "I got hacked" explanation is not going to cut it, he had more to do with it then just that.

I guess. But it could be legit. I've had my neighbors on my wifi before, even with security, and they've gotten me banned from stuff before.

Owned. I think I agree with Chad on this one. And like he would have the knowledge to pull off a DoS attack.And you would have thought that he would be smart enough to encrypt his internet connection? Again, I don't think that some idiot 13 year old (another coincidence?) could hack encrypted WiFi. So, IF it was an immature neighbour, his fault for not getting it protected. If it's Slim Hacker, then he's just too stupid to realise you need SO much computer knowledgeto pull off a DoS.

oh, so the story evolves from someone hacked my router, to a classmate whom he showed acidmods was able to use his router. I think we can see where this is going.....seems to be back peddling pretty fast.
seriously, I can see a scenario where it is possible someone who he showed acidmods too, was able to screw things up for him. Had he presented that scenario right off the bat I might believe him, yet he conveniently left out details. Call me a skeptic, but I for one know when I am being lied to.
I guess if Cloud13 is not slim hacker and really another person, then slim hacker will be able to come up with name, phone number, and street address of this person so that we are able to handle this properly.(with thugs of course......j/k :laughing:)
ACIDMODS is not a parent or a guardian, no one needs to lie to us.

:censored: yeah. I cracked my neighbors wifi which was encrypted with WEP. They then switched to WPA. Cracked that also. They got a new router and are now using WEP2. My spare laptop is on 24/7 bruteforcing it. When it does.....There'll be a :censored: load of horse porn on there networks

This is definitely a dumbass excuse,here's why:
Most kids don't know how to hack a wifi network,other than us :huh:
He should have been using stronger network security
Also,"the kid in his class",just happened to have access to his network.Surely if "the kid in his class" lived next door,he would have referred to him as "my neighbour" instead.
Due to the evidence against him,I fully endorse his ban.

wow. i really like how many people hack wifi networks to screw with the owner.
i personally hack wifi networks for the sheer ability to use them. yeah. maybe the occasional pr0n but seriously. what man doesnt look at it?

He knows I'm cool with him. I backed him up...
Also, let him know that when you're IP banned, all accounts associated with that IP are banned as well as the IP. That's why he can't even log in on a proxy.

I use WPA2 Personal (AES or TKIP). I should put Mac Address filtering on mine, but last time it :censored:ed up everything in the house..

Welcome back Slim. just an FYI, I dont think anyone has anything against you, it was just a bad story to go along with a bad situation. I am sure you have taken the nessecary precautions against having it happen again, and you now know that the whole truth gets you further then just bits and pieces of the truth.
I may seem like I was a bit harsh, but I knew that your situation involved more then just "I got hacked". Now sharing your favorite website with someone you know isnt a bad thing, even if they turn out to be a trouble maker. Playing dumb in a serious situation is a bad thing and that is why some of the commments here were a bit harsh.
Once again welcome back and no hard feelings on my end :winker: Now lets keep that news page fresh!

yeh i made sure he had the proper protection implemented first of all before letting him back in so he now has wpa-psk and mac filtering on his network

If you want slightly better protection than what your getting right now (as long as ur router supports it) make it 'invisible' so you can only find it if you know its SSID, and change your SSID too :)
