Title: howto know the + and - side of leds??

guys how to determine the + and - points of the leds.. :beg:

Usually there is a line or an "arrow" on the bottom of the led. If it's a line, it is usually closer to the - side of he led. The "arrow" is actually more of this shape: _|_ and it points towards the negative usually.

so when i see the _|_  shape that is where the negative point of the leds??right??

usually the closest side where the green mark is or what ever the arrow is pointing to is the negative. Another way is get a 3 volt button cell battery and test the led to see which side is which ( if using leds with voltage of 3 if not use a resistor also)
