Hey all,
today has me very disappointed,
today I went to the mall only to find circuit city having an out of business sale, 30% off everything
then later my father told me that they announced bankruptcy
no more circuit city :(

It was just confirmed yesterday tmandt... but yea its sad. It really leaves best buy as the big electronics dealer

rumors don't mean :censored:
also, before they were in chapter 11
so basically before, they were on the edge of bankruptcy
they strived to make it out, but unfortunately closing over 200 of their retailers did not help them as much as it could have
so if you "heard" about this in november doesnt mean they will ABSOLUTLY become bankrupt
also,
I am not "old", oldis not 1 day now if i was sad that Hechts went out of buisness, than I would be old

Well in Canada they have The Source by Circuit City which is like a crappy version of radio shack.

Circuit city didn't really have good computer parts. Well they did, but not really cheap.
Doesn't effect me, I don't shop there :3

Dont worry if they shut down, once their arnt enough electronic stores, more companies/people will build some more, its buisness, its always like this

:cry2: man i havnt been this sad by a store closing since AMES went out of business :boxed: lol j/k but seriously back before the late 90's and early 2000s Circuit City use to pay there staff through commission, ever since they changed it to minimum wage the place has nose dived. You used to be able to go there and talk to someone who gave a sweet crap about what you wanted to buy, now both Circuit City and Best Buy imo have sealed there fate by ruining customer service where people need it the most.
I used to know people pulling down $70k-$90k/yr that worked at circuit city as floor sales. They were good too, I always remember one guy telling me about selling $40k entertainment systems and whatnot fairly regularly. Too bad that corporate greed got in the way good sound business ethics and tactics.
Oh ya, btw, these greedy corporate people that I speak of, well for the most part they are the same ones running our governments. So go ahead and thank them for why the world has gone to hell in a handbasket. :nono: :sadno:

I'm typing this on my phone as I'm walkng out of the store. I am not happy even with the discounts there products are way over priced even with the discounts. Newegg is still the best

frys clearly tops all. I would live in frys if they would let me. Only problem with them is there are not enough locations.

Dude The one Near me Looks all space-ish. each fry's has its Them when you walk in. I have been to 2 of them. One in Sacramento. and i forgot where but it was a bit of a drive from Corona.

one i went to in gorga had no theam, and the one of the two ive been to in texas had a ranch theam
