Title: my first wii mod, opinions, and help plx XD
Post by: chronoq on January 19, 2009, 01:31:25 PM: hi, im new in this community, and new in the world of modders,my wii is not finisshed yet, i want to put 3 leds solder in the main board, my wii already has the wiimote A backlight and nunchick light, leds in the base, also is painted with black spray, i dont know how put the pics in this forum, if someone told me i will post the pics.
i read a tutorial in http://www.modawii.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8 and i want to know if that point "TP49" is really save to solder the 3 blue leds 3mm, i dont want my wii burned :P i know i have to put some resistors, thx for the help.

I agree it does just look like silcon sleeves...

So, which one is it?

Post by: chronoq on March 10, 2009, 08:39:31 PM: the wiimote and nunchuck are not painted, they have silicon. cause is more easy to erase the paint. and yep they match pretty good.
