Title: UMD Door

Alright I just did a clear case and it somehow never hit me that there is a big piece of metal behind the UMD tray... fail  :clap: So anyway if I cut just the area in the middle of the metal ring out will it screw anything up. I understand that this is probably what you do for a jewel so dont get  get mad I just wanted to make sure b/c I don't think Im giong to put a jewel in... yet.

That piece of metal IS the UMD tray. lol. I don't think cutting a hole in it will make a much of a difference. But I'd wait for better advice.

It should be fine to cut a ring-sized hole out of the umd tray. Just don't cut the whole thing off because thats what holds the disc in. LOL

Ive done it MANY times, noting happens and it works fine  :victory:

Thanks for the pic Jumbo  :tup: I will be trying this soon this is as far as I've gotten into modding so we'll see how it turns out.
