It's not nothing, it's just kinda creepy... Last year, someone at my school comitted suicide while on drugs...

yeah... that's the only bad thing to ever happen at my school. (When you live in an upper middle class neighborhood, not much stuff happens...)

My old home school has suicides all the time. Nothing new. Drugs are almost expected there. If you don't see anyone doing drugs or smoking, then something is wrong.

but seriously. wtf is wrong with people these days that make them want to do stuff like this....

and justin, your lucky cuz at my school they block CP for almost that exact reason

if they didnt have it blocked, almost every computer ive used would either have a trojan virus or something of that sorts

lol in my A+ class a friend and i made an admin account on the server in the PC classroom... teacher logged on so i could install some stuff i needed (my old comp died... the poor processor started to smoke >.< so i had to use one of the fresh ones we just built) and forgot to log out ^_^ we looked at each other when he walked away and we made one ^_^ this was in september and he STILL hasnt noticed that we have admin powahz

lol I already got suspended for just screwing around with a shutdown batchfile on start up... I then asked if they are thinking about blocking command prompts and limiting access more, but they responded "we have enough trust in you not to do it again"... Fail. That's just asking me to reformat all their hard drives...

This kinda stuff never went on when i was in school. The worst we got was a kid getting his head smashed in with a metal pipe by some nutter child. Sure we had loads of fights (We brits love a good fight, he he!) but blowing people up?! Thats not on. Ra1n, your bloody lucky!

thats basically what i did, but CMD is blocked so it would run

and our computer have a like chinese censorship level on them. they block absolutely everything unrelated to education

and our computers are set up on a district server (we all get our own account) and the teachers dont even have full adminship. the only peple who do are the IT department in the district office. so i dont think ill be able to do much more then i already have

Tried and false. It goes to the command promt, it's just an easier way of getting there. That's if the block the shortcut. The actual CMD Prompt is still blocked.

I can access their c:\ drive, go through most of their files, etc. I even found this nifty little program that lists all users. Didn't have enough time to mess around with it to see if passwords were stored there too. Oh yeah, we're running novell and I have no clue how it works :( Anybody know how servers/networks/stuff like that work? Links or something would be nice, I'd love to learn :)

Also, filters are web server based. i.e: If you're on the schools' network, you're stuck with their filter.

My school is hardcore for this type of stuff.

Restricted policies (no right click, cmd, task manager), web filter, and a program to freakin kill any processes not on it's "allowed" list.

The PCs also use DeepFreeze, so no making and saving accounts for me :S

If anyone wants I could send them the reg file I use to remove the policies.
