Title: Just finished a new controller (blue tiger)
Post by: Ghost In Black on January 22, 2009, 03:48:56 PM
I've been working on this for a few days now and just finished it. Side note: The xbox guide button also lights up red when the rumble is activated, and I installed 3 mode rapid fire with LED notification. Unfortunately I couldn't tape this because my Xbox DVD drive broke. (I'm going to my friends this weekend and then I'll edit this post with the new video.) :cry2:

EDIT: Went to my friend's house and got the red rumble and LED rapid fire notification also:

Sure, I painted it with duplicolor spray paint. I had lots of coats- I think 2 primer 4 blue 2 black and 2 clear coats. I put only a light coat on each time though, and made sure it was dry before the next coat was applied. Oh, and I sanded the blue with high grit sandpaper. Lol this is my second controller because I messed the first one up by sanding the black; not very smart. It was easier to restart than sand the first controller back down. Good luck :)

Thanks! I just put some blue painters tape on my desk (which is like a cutting board) and cut a design in it. It does take a while but it's not too hard.
