hi guys need info i want yellow dog unix on my new pc but also want it on my ps3 but ive noticed you have to pay for it off the site for the only working 6.1 for ps3 anyway i was just woundering why have we got to pay does it use a licence like windows or can i just go download it from psu site cos the files so big i dont want to wait some time and find out its a demo lol. :rofl:

personally, even though yellow dog "supports) PS3, if i were you i would go with Ubuntu or Gentoo..... Ubuntu's website has a LiveCD for PS3 as well as a full tutorial for installation... but last i heard YDL was free.. hhm beats me :dntknw:

its ment to be free ive looked at other ones and they are not 50+ suporting the ps3 like yellow dog
