This is my first post on acidmods. As soon as I figure out how to post a tut for this I will. I seen the reed switch mod a while back that was done to a PSP power board and thought "I wonder if that would work with other things". I got really bored one night and came up with this.

What kind of paint did you use? I want to paint my 360 black but not glossy.

Thats pretty sweet! I am going to put a security mod on my 360 but I'm using a locking switch
-
psp339 I used Krylon Fusion plastic paint. It dries quickly but be sure to not touch it for several hours. Also be sure to prep the case. For info on that just google painting plastic or painting 360 case. Hope I helped!

thats Really Cool. But Would it still work by pushing the Button?

yep it is still fully fuctional. The reason for this mod is I am planning some other security stuff and this is the first phase. Also, I need to find a stronger magnet :)

Use Flat Black, thats the color you want. It keeps the same texture and looks almost identical to the elite. You can check mine out in the show-off your 360 thread.
oh and
Awesome idea and mod. Nice work man and welcome to Acimods

Where did you get your paint from? That's how I want my 360 but first I need a OEM white case since my 360 is the green Halo edition.

Well the brand of it is Rustoleum. I'm in Australia and got it from a DIY store called Bunnings.

Rustoleum works just as well but for this one I used Krylon Fusion. Also thanks for the welcome guys!
