Want to find a 24" 1920x1200 screen. Or, a 22" 1920x1080 screen.
Viewing angles higher than 160 vertical/horizontal. Also, I'd like it to be black and going to last a long time. I'd be getting 2.
Kinda high brightness, too, I guess.
Any ideas?

I have an insignia 22" its REALLY NICE and can go up to 1920x1080interlaced
720p HDMI and VGA pot
HD cables(forget name like on xbox 360)
reg video cabled RWY
the total cost for me was about $300(it was on sale)

LOL no way treemty. Oh god, that thing sucks.
Phenom I'd prefer them to be under $300 each, but I'm not getting the 2nd one till after the build so I guess slightly over is okay too.

it doesnt suck its the best monitor EVER
no but srsly it is really good quality

I LOVE my gateway fhd2400. I got it for $250 at tiger direct. It was refurbished but the only reason that I could tell was because of the small sticker on the back that says refurbished. I would recomend that monitor to anyone. It has a 92% color gamat and 3ms response time, awesome 1920 x 1200 resolution, hardly no light bleeds through on the sides. Awesome stand and tons of inputs. It is the bomb diggity. :tup:

I like it, but the only downer is the viewing angles and the color. I'm still looking. I think I might prefer a 1920x1080 22" more, too.

The color is really good and so is the viewing angle. I think it is the best I have ever had. It looks awesome from every where and it displays the colors beautifuly.

Contrast Ratio
1000:1
The average for contrast ratios is 1500-2500, my TV is 10,000:1 and my monitors are both 3000:1

while this may be true, contrast ratios are not measured the same for every product. What is 1,000 to 1 contrast ratio for one monitor may be a 10,000 to 1 contrast ratio for another monitor.

Yeah theirs dynamic contrast and there is static contrast
My monitor is overhyped with its colour (It actually has good colour though) and has 8000:1 but thats dynamic, with static its 1000:1
1000:1 is still good though

yea personally I think that people get a little to hyped up on specs sometimes. If it does what you want it to do and looks like you want it to then buy it! Lol
