sooo while waiting on parts for the back to the future psp and waiting for my still unborn child i decided to experiment with my psp to make it easier to swap umd doors, dunno if anyone has tried this before didnt really look it up just thought id give it a shot with parts from an old reading light that broke lol forgive me for the sloppy amounts of wire and tape :P i like to use extra of both incase i messs up and need to trim or whatnot.
basicly its just metal pads on the psp and the umd door itself, one pad is + and one is - . but in the end it worked out nice cause now i can test my FC with ease and any other door im make just by touchin the wires to the pads. i also have plans to make 2 pads on the bottom end for possible speaker doors in the future.it doesnt need them right now but when my new power board comes in the top pads will be connected to the power leds
ya thats my fusion psp, since its the psp i use for work alot of the paint on the trim got scraped off :(. thats what i get for goin to the dollar store lol(im cheap), dont worry it will get a new paint job :)
im still waiting on my cr-3100 :(
anyways on to the piccas! :drunk:

Very Nice concept.
I never would have thought of that.
It is a little unorganized, but with some refining that could totally come in handy.
Good work!
Perhaps giving the pads a god solid foundation would help.

Nice, to imrpove it you should put a peice of metal film on the door itself and place a spring that will touch it on the other side to make it neater
-
Not such a bad idea dude.
I would like to have that incorporated with my faceplate for easy removal..Just don't want to drop it lol
