Title: EL Wire?

Well i want to know if any one knows where to buy el wire that can be ran off ~5v.




ps: this for a secret project.

I'm fairly sure that all el wire runs from AC current. Yes, you can use el wire with the 5v, but you need an inverter. I have no idea where to get a small inverter unfortunately

thats what i did when i was looking at 12 v el wire for my prom suit

well found this would this work to power from a usb port? This (http://www.neontrim.com/inverters.shtml) go down tn the 5v inverters.
