Title: Double Sided Tape?
Post by: bustinthejustin on February 02, 2009, 02:11:29 PM: Hey what type of tape is this guy using under his led? Or is it even tape... What double-sided tape could I use on electronics?

That's less of a tape, and more of an applicable adhesive... you might want to try the double sided tape used for plumbing. It might be a bit thick, but it's very high quality.

I use it sometimes to hold parts when machining them! double sided sticky tape is very usefull and the application shown above is a perfect example of how it can be used......just make sure what you are sticking isnt going to get too hot or the adhesive might fail.

also make sure it isnt conductive, as i think there is similar tape made for mufflers and things that get hot. That is not what you want as generally if it conducts heat, it will conduct electricity.

Stick to 3M products for the sticky tape(pun intended) :laughing:
