Post by: loxel on February 04, 2009, 07:12:01 PM
ya sooo i finaly got my cr-3100 in the mail only problem is it wont seem to read any card or fail during formating on psp, ive tried all different versions of ofw and cfw stil too no avail.ive  tried formating my card on the computer in different ways (fat,32fat) and ive done it with 4 different cards of all sizes. the main one i want is my kingston 16gb sdhc. but the damn psp phat wont let it format, and says it cant be read. am i missing a step? or did i just lose 40$ :(

How many cards are you putting in? If you put in only one I think you have to put it into slot 1 or something. I dunno. Maybe your cr-3100 is just faulty. It technically should work in a phat because it's just a standard memory stick pro duo, but i dunno.

my pc can read and format my sdhc cards, it can even register the kingston 16gb thru the cr3100 on usb mode, but the psp wont  read or format them

If you have a slim to try it on, you could test it on that. But if it still doesn't work, it's probably faulty.
