You know the photofast internal mod thing? I was just wondering what the point of it was? Cant you just stick the photofast card into the memory stick port? :help:

You dont have to internalize the CR-3100 but we do because,
1. Its bulky
2. Looks bad
3. It covers the door so no more jewels
4. No more LED's in the UMD Door with it on the back
5. Why not, we use it MUCH more than the stupid UMD Drive..

He probably means internal cr-3100 mod. And yeah Jumbo basically summed it up. Also because we're modders, so why not internalize it? I mean, the go cam plugs into the top but we internalized it anyway...

Yes I think that its the CR-3100 internal mod...
its where there are 2 of them glued inside the UMD bay. Cant you just stick it in the memory card slot like a pro duo? What is the point of making it inside then? Im obviously missing something here. Here is the adapter im talking about at least, I found Aphexs tutorial but Im not sure if its the right one it has no pics.

See, the point of making it inside is so that it looks sleeker and better. Doesn't that look uncomfortable and in the way, stuck to the back like that?

i have seen like a memory stick adapter..pro duo..and in that adapter goes 2 mini cards 8gb and the adapter goes into psp...

there's two different ones. There's the Cr-3100 which takes sdhc cards (pictured above) and the CR-5400 with takes two microsdhc cards. The main difference between the two is that the Cr-3100 goes all the way up to 64gb where as the Cr-5400 only goes up to 32gb

the thing in the picture (link in pervious post) looks like it would fit into the memory card slot just like a pro duo normally would. Thats hwta I assumed it did anyways :wacko:

it's supposed to go up to 64gb. I don't know if it actually does or not, but I know one thing for sure is I don't have the money to test it out.

I have not seen anyone test out the 3100 above 32 Gig but 64 would be nice... you can always get the 5400 off of ebay for 20 bucks.. :wacko:

I should be testing that soon, i've ordered two 32gb sdhc cards to find out if it can work at 64gb. That i'm aware of, the reason why photofast says the adapter will only go to 32gb is because OFW is capped at that level and as we all know CFW doesn't have that restriction. When i get them i'll post back with info.

And i just realized that we pretty much have the CR-3100 for hackers. WTH would you do with 32gb on OFW anyways?

Actually it only cost me $170 (£120). still alot of money tho. I nearly cried when the payment was made. The CR-3100 is totally a hacker toy. unless you wanted your entire music collection and movies on there. thats the only thing i think a OFW psp owner would do if they had it.
