im using Windows xp because its reliable but if you want a realy fast computer get linux but the bad thing about that is it can't play games much

USB drive man

You can hack U3 on loads of USB sticks to be a dvd/cd emulator

I install XP like that, its alot faster like that aswell

Also I found a huge exploit with it

Plug in USB, i have all passwords, history, cache, etc in seconds without any user input and notification (No anti virus will detect it aswell)

Post by: alentris on February 13, 2009, 01:32:28 PM: I'd say, your best bet wouldbe to get an external hard drive and installlinux on it. Then, dual boot to the external harddrive, and use WINE to run a recovery program on your regular harddrive. After that, just boot off of the regular harddrive, and (only if you want to) you can keep linux on the portable. Also, SP2 is alot more stable than three (the media center SP2 pack is my personal fave). Hope this helps. :yess:

lol Same here, I have every single Product key for windows XP/VISTA from every PC my USB gets Pluged into.

and just copy the CD to your flash drive your flash drive will think its a boot disk or cd w/e

Just as well google exists, hey?

Lost, is what I would be if I couldn't use Windows in the half term holiday.

The reason is that I was doing some important music producing the other day, And my other computer is too slow to handle FL Studio or Reason 4.

Game as I am to attempt running it, it was slow as hell. Then a wierd thing happened. Some strange words scrolled past the screen. It said "Read the first word of every line/paragraph".
