Are you talking about a bricked psp? Is your psp's green light turns on but no video and no sound? Then after a few seconds later the green light turns off? If yes to all this questions, then sadly to announce that you have a very serious problem in your hands. There is really nothing wrong with your psp's daughterboard. You see, a psp thats bricked due to a firmware problem will most likely come to life by using a magic memory stick and a pandora battery. After using this tools, if the psp still not functional, then what you have is a hardware problem. Almost impossible to fix unless the motherboard gets replace by another one. I have personally experience this problem numerous times with different psp's and the pandora tools were useless. I hope this help. Good Luck!!

Have you checked the condition of the MMS? Last year I was putting custom firmware on my friend's PSP, but the memory card was quite badly damaged. That moment was pretty awkward. But once I used my own memory card and made it into a MMS, it worked fine.
And just to check, are you sure it was a brick? Were you playing around with flash files or updating when this happened?
The PSP does do something that resembles a brick when there's a problem with the memory stick.

the magic memory stick works fine with my other psp.
i was thinking that the psp could be bricked but also have a faulty memory stick reader.
the two led's do not blink when i try to pandora-ize it.

Uhm, yes that's completely possible. You can have anything broken on top of a brick.

thank you.
so if i replace the daughterboard it is possible to unbrick it.

Once again, I would like to say that there is nothing wrong with the wifi, memory stick board. I strongly believe that this problem is something more than just a brick or to keep believing that is the daughterboard. Anyway, keep trying and I hope you get it fix.
