Title: ipod video led mod help

i am doing a sound reactive led mod for my ipod video.  Can someone tell me where i can draw power for the led or post some kind of tutorials on how to install one.

There's no tut and pretty much, as we've seen, there's only been 2 people that have done it. Maybe 3. I'm one of them, I just got my power from the headphone jack.

thanks, is there any other way to get power beside using the headphone jack? how about using the battery in some way?

If you use the battery, they're never going to shut off...
You could wire them to the power/audio pins on the ipod connector though.
