Title: PIC12F683 code

I'm trying to program my 12F683 chip but its a little confusing to me. Ive programmed in higher level languages like java and C++ but nothing like this. I was wondering if anyone had any sample code lying around? I'm aiming for a CoD4 rapid fire chip but I'd also like to learn a little about this along the way.
