Title: A quicky question about the LM386 mod
Post by: rgarjr on February 26, 2009, 05:05:48 PM
When you use the LM386 to do the sound reactive mod.  Do you not need the resistors between the chips output and the LED's?

No, not unless you're using leds that require a lower voltage, like red or something. You do need the resistors between the chip and the speaker though.

Sweet, okay.

I made a diagram on this mod on how it would look on a Slim using L0rdNiC0s work of course.

You can put the lm386 right under the memory stick slot.

i got 2 questions

is it going to make any diference if i use 200k ohms instead of 191k?
and if i put more leds would it make it dimmer?
