When you use the LM386 to do the sound reactive mod. Do you not need the resistors between the chips output and the LED's?

No, not unless you're using leds that require a lower voltage, like red or something. You do need the resistors between the chip and the speaker though.

where , do put the IC (where is the space to put the lm 386 in the PSP slim) ??

You can put the lm386 right under the memory stick slot.

i got 2 questions
is it going to make any diference if i use 200k ohms instead of 191k?
and if i put more leds would it make it dimmer?
